Every brand has a first design. For Chantes, it was Origen.

In 2023, Chantes began to take shape in Nuevo Casas Grandes, Chihuahua. Among the first ideas we developed was a cap that would end up becoming one of the most important pieces in our history.

We called it Origen.

The first step

Origen was our first launch and one of our first opportunities to bring Chantes' ideas into a real product.

Its minimalist approach drew inspiration from Paquimé pottery, incorporating visual references from our region into a design intended for everyday wear.

We didn't know everything that would follow, but we were clear that we wanted to create something of our own.

50 pieces and a beginning we haven't forgotten

The first 50 Origen caps sold out in a month.

For a brand just starting out, it was an important moment. Behind every sale was a person who decided to trust in an idea that was still growing.

Over time, we continued to develop new collections, exploring other designs and expanding the Chantes universe. But Origen will always have a special place: it was one of the first ways to show what we wanted to build.
